General principles

This method of food was developed by the American doctor of a naturopathy Peter D'Adamo. The basic principle of a diet consists that the need of the person for nutrients depends on his blood type.

For each group there is a certain set of food which brings benefit to an organism, helps to support a normal metabolism and to prevent development of diseases, and also to get rid of excess weight.

In addition, there are also such products which use does harm to an organism or makes neutral impact.

The author of a diet offers the following classification by blood types:

  • The first (0) — representatives of this group make about 30% of all population of the planet. This blood type is considered the most ancient, and mainly meat diet is peculiar to her owners.
  • The second (And) — appeared in the course of transition of mankind from hunting to active cultivation of lands. It is group it is considered "vegetarian".
  • The third (In) — appeared in the course of active moving of mankind on continents. Representatives of this group are, as a rule, omnivorous.
  • The fourth (AVATARS) — the youngest and most rare group on number — no more than 3% of the population of all planet. Also omnivorous group, however unlike owners of 3 blood types, have slightly less restrictions in food.

Indications and contraindications

The diet, first of all, is directed on formation of attention to the daily diet therefore the main indications to such diet are: excess weight and tendencies to an overeating and illegibility accompanying it in food.
