The medical table No. 5 is intended for the patients having diseases of a liver and bilious ways at chronic colitis (in a combination to tendency to locks), at a "stagnant" liver and gastritis out of an aggravation stage.

What is authorized at a diet and what can be the menu?


Diet and rules of food

The main goal of a diet – to facilitate work of a liver, to unload a cholesteric/fatty exchange, to stimulate naturally work of a gastrointestinal tract.

Key rules of a medical table No. 5:

  • Restrictions: cholesterol, fats, oxalic acid, salt (10 g/day), and also purinovy bases.
  • For a daily diet it is enough – 70 of fats, 50 – carbohydrates and 100 g of proteins.
  • Are completely excluded: eggs and bean, fancy bread, liver, all fried, cold dishes and oil.

  • Soups: from vegetables and on milk, fruit, on grain. Beetroot soups, borsches and Russian cabbage soup are admissible, but meatless. And any subfrying for soup!
  • Meat: easy and low-fat. For example, boiled language or ham, also beef, a bird is resolved. It is preferably to steam, or to give dishes in a boiled look.
  • From fish: also – only easy grades. Recommend a navaga with a cod, the bream, a hake, a pollock. It is possible to prepare fish aspic or to bake this product in an oven.
  • The dairy: "limit" for kefir, cottage cheese and milk – at most 200 ml/days. From cottage cheese it is better to prepare cheese cakes and baked puddings, it is possible lazy vareniki. From cheeses – soft and easy, sharp are forbidden. Milk – only in porridge and other dishes.
  • Farinaceous food: classics of a genre – yesterday's bread. Also we will allow bread from bran. As for pastries – no more than 2 r / week under a condition lack of oil in the test. We don't forget about biscuits, ship's biscuits and croutons.
  • Eggs: with care. Better in an omelet. "Limit" — 1 piece/day.
  • Vegetables and greens: surely. In a crude and boiled look, in different dishes. An emphasis on beet with carrot.
  • From fruit/berries – only sweet and ripe, restrictedly.
  • Black caviar.
  • Jam and fruit candy, and also other sweets (a zephyr, honey, marmeladka) – about 70 g/day.
  • Oil (both look) – is exclusive in the form of gas stations.
  • Vermicelli, macaroni are resolved.
  • Drinks: first of all, water. Its norm / put – from 1,5 l. Tea – weak, on herbs, with milk. Too it is possible to add milk to coffee. From juice – natural. There will be no dogrose broth superfluous.
  • Sauces – on milk, from berries and fruit.
  • From seasonings: parsley with fennel, it is limited – vanilla and cinnamon, bay leaf.

It is forbidden in food

That it is impossible to eat during a diet

  • All fried and fat food.
  • Smoked products and canned food.
  • Meat/fish – exclusively low-fat grades.
  • Hot dishes.
  • Any the alcoholic, aerated and cold drinks. Cocoa too isn't recommended.
  • The bean.
  • Offal, caviar and salted pork fat.
  • Vinegar and mushroom dishes.
  • Pickles with marinades.
  • From sweets – ice cream with chocolate.
  • Vegetable dishes with garlic/onions, spinach and a sorrel, turnip and a garden radish, with a cauliflower and a radish.
  • Fresh bread, fried/rich buns.
  • Strong broths, soups from cabbage and okroshka, mushroom broths.
  • Cream and fat sour cream / cottage cheese, fermented baked milk with fat cheeses, milk with fat content is higher than 6 percent.
  • Fried eggs and hard boiled eggs.
  • Pepper, mustard with a horse-radish.
  • Cooking and animal fats.

  • For the 1st breakfast: coffee with milk + a buckwheat from 5 g of oil + a steam omelet.
  • For the 2nd breakfast: no more than 100 g of house cottage cheese + tea.
  • For lunch: vegetable soup + garnish (rice) + 150 g of boiled meat + dogrose (broth).
  • For a mid-morning snack: compote + salad from beet.
  • For dinner: rather weak tea + mashed potatoes (carrots) + a small fish on couple.

Wednesday.

  • For the 1st breakfast: coffee with milk addition + 60 g of cheese (a low-fat grade) + porridge from 5 g of oil.
  • For the 2nd breakfast: a slice of yesterday's bread with low-fat cheese + tea + couple of baked apples.
  • For lunch: porridge on milk (rice) + mashed potatoes (vegetable marrows) + chicken balls + compote.
  • For a mid-morning snack: kissel + ship's biscuits/croutons.
  • For dinner: rather weak tea + stewed cabbage (190 g, color) + herring (to otmochit in milk).

  • For the 2nd breakfast: tomatoes + tea + house yogurt.

What is included into the menu of a medical hypoallergenic diet No. 5 for children and pregnant women?

To future mothers the diet No. 5 is prescribed, of course, only by the doctor.

  • For a mid-morning snack: yogurt house + the baked apple.
  • For dinner: buckwheat + rather weak tea + cheese (firm, low-fat) + vegetable salad.

At kids of the menu for a diet No. 5 not strongly differs.

  • For the 1st breakfast: rather weak tea + macaroni + 80 g of boiled beef.
  • For the 2nd breakfast: milk + house cottage cheese.
  • For lunch: vegetable soup (potatoes, oat-flakes) + stuffed cabbage + kissel from berries.
  • For a mid-morning snack: apple.
  • For dinner: porridge (rice), it is possible on milk + mineral water.
  • Before going to bed: kefir.

Responses of dietitians

— For all, using this diet, it is important to remember that the medical table No. 5 exists not for restoration of the internals affected with an illness, and for elimination of the factors provoking an aggravation and for acceleration of recovery process.

Naturally, the diet has to be combined with the registered medicines. And independent transition to a diet No. 5 isn't recommended.

I will in addition note – don't "loaf" with bread and rolls. Eat yesterday's bread. As a last resort, you dry on a frying pan. The fancy bread doesn't do well at this diet.

— This diet is, of course, not intended for weight loss. The purposes – exclusively medical for various chronic diseases of "stomach" which instantly become aggravated at errors in food.

Adhering to a diet, it is possible to bring quickly enough the organism into norm, and in passing to solve and other problems in an organism (excess of liquid, excess weight, problems with joints and so forth).

The patience is enough not at all, but medical foods – really effective measure to return itself a normal state. Therefore there is a sense to suffer. All of health.
